Savings Methodology
How PayGrouper defines order savings, membership treatment and verified public results.
Public savings definitions
- Original bill or retail amount
- The eligible bill amount or the retail product total used for the completed order.
- PayGrouper price
- The amount the customer pays through PayGrouper for the eligible order, as recorded by the active calculation and checkout flow.
- Amount Grouper covers
- The difference between the eligible original amount and the PayGrouper price when that difference is positive.
- Gross order savings
- The order-level savings before any applicable membership cost.
- Account access cost
- PayGrouper account access is currently free.
- Net savings
- With free account access, verified net savings equal verified gross order savings.
Which orders qualify for verified public results?
Verified public savings data must use completed, paid, non-refunded customer orders. The following are excluded:
- Test orders
- Pending or unpaid orders
- Cancelled or refunded orders
- Draft orders
- Promotional examples that were not completed customer orders
Order-status definitions

| Refunded order | Excluded from verified savings results. |

| Pending order | Excluded until completed and paid. |
