Editorial Policy
How PayGrouper reviews facts, verifies savings examples, discloses conflicts and handles corrections.
How educational content is created
PayGrouper creates educational pages to explain bill savings, online-shopping savings, membership costs, eligibility, privacy and service limitations. Educational content is separated from interactive checkout and does not change operational decisions.
Review standards
- Factual claims are checked against current PayGrouper policies, approved operational information or identified external sources.
- Savings examples are verified before publication and must use approved completed-order information or be clearly labeled as explanatory examples.
- Provider support statements require existing operational verification plus separate public-display approval.
- Pages display publication and last-reviewed dates.
- Material corrections are made without silently changing the underlying operational data.
Conflicts and disclosures
PayGrouper operates the service discussed on these pages. Comparison and educational content should identify that affiliation and explain when another option may be more appropriate.
Promotional versus educational content
Calls to action may link to Bill Check or Shopping Price Check, but educational explanations should remain balanced and should not promise approval, acceptance, savings or completion.
